NBTA Washington Fly-In

Expanding Voice of Intercity Bus Network

We're proud of our VP of Business Development, Derrick, for representing the company at the NBTA & American Bus Association's inaugural Washington Fly-In in Washington, D.C.

Derrick joined industry leaders from across the country in meetings with members of Congress, congressional staff, and officials from the U.S. Department of Transportation to discuss the future of scheduled intercity bus service.

Together, they advocated for policies that support safe, reliable, and sustainable transportation for communities nationwide.

"Intercity bus service is an essential part of America's transportation network, connecting rural and urban communities while providing an affordable and reliable travel option," noted Nick Crist, Chair of the National Bus Traffic Association. "Today's event demonstrates that our industry is organized, engaged, and committed to working with policymakers to strengthen scheduled bus service for millions of people who depend on it."

NBTA plans to continue expanding advocacy efforts through regular engagement with Congress, federal agencies, and industry stakeholders as it advances policies that support safe, reliable, and financially sustainable intercity bus network.
